Wasn't all that flash in Woodbourne yesterday either. Wellington was quite exciting, and it looks as though it hasn't let up much again today.

Some great shots there Sam. PDM spent most of the afternoon parked in front of the Sounds Aero Maintenance hangar at Omaka. The wind was shocking there so it would've made for a very eventful take off when it departed. Wasn't all that flash in Woodbourne yesterday either. Wellington was quite exciting, and it looks as though it hasn't let up much again today. Aha - Joe 'hard at work" yesterday afternoon

It's the job, hard on the body don't you know. Now where did I put my pipe and blanket?
We had flown this gentleman and his terminally ill wife to Blenheim from Christchurch so she could be with her family at home. We wouldn't normally take so much time to discuss things with relatives, after all, coffees in the terminal are usually far more important. You got my best side too, nice work.

No way, just a part from the wind. The stick is one thing, the hair is another.

And a few more from another spectacular Wellington day on Saturday while taking a break from the hospital Some long range cropping involved, so quality isn't the best! Love the vortices from the Boeing: This poor guy had a great ride down the runway on his first landing attempt before going around (unfortunately I didn't have the camera out so you'll just have to take my word for it!). The second approach was successful, although it still had its moments. Well done that man (or woman!)
