I know it's a bit odd - and possibly impractical! - but would it be possible/likely for a future colour scheme to be Wanganui Aero Work's ZK-AUZ? Also the Omaka-based RAAF example? (A17-612 i think)

You and Rosie have been very busy there Terry, well done indeed on such an interesting range of Tiger Moths. Can you email me the .pdf please?
Out of interest how much does a Tiger Moth cost? I'm not really a modeller anymore and certainly not in 1/72 but the James Aviaition Tiger Moth, if it's the famous one now in the Waikato Museum, was owned for a while by my friend's dad Dereck Kain, who I also knew when he was alive. She might be interested in the model.
Have you considered a range of DH60 Moths? There were a few interesting ones in NZ like the Cadbury Chocolate Moth, the Herald Moth, NZPAF examples, etc and no doubt many more good schemes from overseas.

Anthony The Omaka aircraft aircraft is almost finished, and if you could send me a Wanganui Aero Works ZK-AUZ? we'll make up a tiger in that livery as well...you won't have to wait long...
Dave I don't make models anymore either (We design 'em) but seriously I think our designs would be ideal for you and other very busy people - very family friendly and very ergonomic. Our Tiger's will all be available as 1/48 as well - but probably next year.
We'll be doing most of the De Havilland aircraft and the DH 60 is already underway - but the Fox Moth will be out first. The Tiger we've done is in Te Papa...didn't know there was one in the Waikato Museum, but we'll do that as well...send me some pics. The printed models will cost around $12 -$15.
I'll send you the PDF of them today.

Maybe that Tiger Moth moved to Te Papa from the Waikato Musuem, or maybe I'm confused but I know the Waikato Museum was offered it and I thought it was in there. I'm talking about Ossie's first Tiger Moth topdresser, which he sold to 'Bill' Kain and then later bought back when Bill lost his licence.

I envisage a replica of a hangar at work home to several Fletchers and Crescos, some of them in parts.......I'd love to make this a reality....
BTW I'm now 21, but have been building plastic kits since around age 5.

But Zacyates, I have the hangar for you.................................. Phoenix Aviations base at Gore. (I know, no Cresco but the Cubs should make up for it. ) Enough Fletchers in parts for you? ;D By the way, Cub ZK-BOY is historic in its own right being one of the original venison recovery aircraft and is still in that configuration, notice the hatches in the side and on top, it even still has the meat tray in the back with the necessary drain.

One of Tony Hawker's originals.Nice. If you print up this incarnation of ZK-AJO............... Early James Aviation. How long since you've seen a hangar sign "Welcome to . . ." an aero club?

Thanks for that color image..Got any pictures of Classic Flyers ZK-AVK?...I was meant to go and see them last year but got cancer diagnosis instead :-( BTW seems the red in the Te Papa Tiggy is a bit different to ZK-AVK?? or is that just a consequence of good old photoshop?

That's ZK-AVJ at Tauranga - its a replica (there was a thread here about it some time ago). It was hanging in a souvenir shop at Rotorua, then was for sale on TradeMe for (from memory) $8000. Don't know how accurate the colouring is. ZK-AJO at the museum in 1998 - but don't forget that artificial light can do strange things to colours:

The style of the letter A in 'AJO's rego is interesting - worth noting if drawing the colour scheme.
