Noted, should be a good day if I can get the time off. Love the poster, very period.

I can now make it to this event and am really looking forward to sitting on the grass to watch some WW1 fighters fly overhead. Any other guys from here going along?

Hi Zac, plans have changed AGAIN so will not be there. Seeing the three SE.5a fighters yesterday was enough for me anyway, would like to be there but never mind.

I'm finishing work at lunchtime tomorrow, so I'm hoping to attend if the weather is okay.
The air display might even make me forget for a few hours that I've got to work early on Sunday morning, heading over to Wellington then driving one of the Toast Martinborough trains (not one of my favourite jobs, but at least I'm hauling the patrons from Wellington to the event and not hauling out-of-control drunks home again at the end of the day).

Oh, fine. But only because you asked nicely My camera's only good for static shots, but I'll try take plenty of those. With such great weather I hope the SVAS and OSRCo have their machines at least outside .

That was a lovely afternoon with some superb flying displays. It was a very intimate, cruisy atmosphere at the display.
I took about 150 photographs, but I've culled about 50 of them out. I'm in the process of selecting the best of the rest and creating resized copies of them. Once I get that done, I'll post a selection at this group over the next few days. I guess I'll have to open a Fotobucket account to upload them to. I tried to post some photos in another thread at this group about a week ago, inserting download links to where I've got them stored at MSN, but they wouldn't display, so I deleted the message. Perhaps ProGroups won't display photos uploaded to MSN's severs, even if they are in open-display photo albums?
