Nice photos Craig. I love that Hudson. I wish we had one flying here.
Did the Airtrainers do any formation aerobatics or were they just arriving in formation?

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I was surprised how some of my photos came out, but I'm still getting far too many half/quarter Hornets/Hawks/F-111s! ;D I need to go and get an SLR! Dave, they took off in formation, did three or four passes, and then broke of to land again - so pretty tame stuff compared to the Red Checkers routine. ;D ;D ;D When they annouced the team's name, I thought to myself "Purple Cobras, that sounds familiar?" I worked out later that it is the name of one of the teams in the movie Dodgeball!

Great shots Craig That bomber formation is very unique and I bet the sound was quite something.

Thanks for posting the images Craig. Although the Purple Cobras is a odd name it beats the "Green Lemons" which was the name of the Hornet formation when 77 sqn did that stuff. i also like the look of that fire truck - looks like a new toy by the look of that shiny nozzle. ;D
