Could someone give me a list of the WWI-type aircraft flying or even static in NZ please?
Any photos would be appreciated. Particularly Camel, Albatros (with or without wafers and any flavour ), Pfalz, SPAD, Fokkers.
I may have need of some for a book a friend is writing.
Thanks
PF

An Avro 504K was added to the civil register yesturday www.caa.govt.nz/Script/AirReg2.asp?From_Month=10&From_Year=2008&Query2=Run+Query&To_Month=11&To_Year=2008+theres quite a few other WW1 aircraft on the register as well, both restorations and replicas. One Se5 replica hangs from the roof of the Fighter pilots museum in wanaka it was built in the UK. One Se5 replica is on display at the Wanaka transport museum A Squadron Aviation Fokker VII replica was on the civil register but is now withdrawn and im not sure where it is. And John Lowthers own design Sopwith Camel replica was also withdrawn from the register. Hope this helps

If you want to see three Se5a's flying together then pop along to Wings Over Wairarapa in January.

With all these aircraft coming and going off the register (and not wearing their civvy rego's) it's getting hard to keep track of what's where and what have come and gone again.

I believe there are two flyable Bristol Fighters in NZ, Shane, one real and one replica.

Holy cow, Batman. Is NZ thinking of going to war? Marvelous. My Client will be delighted. PF.
