FlyNavy, thank you so much for posting that. Most timely for me as I am building an RC EDF TA-4K and there is alot of very interesting stuff there. My effort will only be a semi scale 1/12 model and I wasn't going to spend alot of time detailing it as RC planes can have a limited life span, but I've no excuse now! Thanks again and also to Les. Many Happy Landings kiwikid, may you have as many takeoffs as good landings. Must be a buzz. ;D

Hey KiwiKid, you gonna fly that thing before Xmas? Flown mine twice now, HET6904 and 2W-20 on 4S. First flight video here Launch with small bungee, landing was quite slow and slide of only about 6ft. Les.

HaHa - yep the maiden is not too far off. I have 23 models and, between flying and repairing, I am finding it increasingly difficult to finish a model without letting others become US. Yes, I spotted your vid on YouTube - looks and sounds great - my set up is the same as yours. I was going to fly mine in a semi finished state, but thought, if I snotted it in, I would not get to see it in its semi-scalish livery. Bit of a toss up as its a PITA to write off a scale model - but all part of the hobby as this pilot found out with the maiden of his EDF Hunter at Papakura earlier this year Will post some flying pics and a vid in a new thread, hopefully before Xmas.
