Here are a few shots I took yesterday. All three aircraft are now flying actively and were due to fly to Wellington for the 90th Anniversary Armistice Day fly-past and they tried but the weather deteriorated so the aircraft turned back and over flew the Masterton war memorial. Had a few minutes to capture the moment with a few air 2 air photos as we were sharing time with Television NZ. The air 2 airs will have to wait for another time but I have included a solo shot here. These three aircraft are just stunning and will add something very special to the Airshow scene here in little old New Zealand. It was great to fly alongside these aircraft on the 90th Anniversary and just before we headed home Gene De Marco took me for a quick spin in the original Bristol Fighter pictured below, and that just blew my mind flying in an original.

Wow, just wow.
What a marvellous formation to see, and wonderful photos too. Are any of the pilots attached to those colour schemes known? Are they all representing SE-5a's from one squadron (like the Fokkers are) or are they painted as aces, or anything like that?

Duuuuuuuuuude! Thankyou so much for these shots! I was hoping to catch a glimpse of these honeys before Saturday. Is that TJ flying "Wanganui"? And flying in the Brisfit, what a thrill! Not often - if ever - we get to see shots taken from ONBOARD an ORIGINAL WW1 type!
