Hi all
Here is the first of my video clips of the Warbirds flying day last Sunday. As I mentioned in one of my previous postings I had a bit of the all to common “finger” problem and took most of the video with the camera’s backlighting enabled. The sun was shining so brightly Sunday I could not see the cams screen all that well and did not realise what I had done… duhhhh! To compensate for the over exposed part of the video I have had to “black&white” some of it while the last part I left as is… all white and shiny! Grrrrr…..
While sitting on the grass before the Dak flew one of its flights my wife asked me how do they get the aircraft into its very small “parking area”… “Do they push her back?” she wondered… Guess so was my reply…. That was until we saw the pilot (not sure who flew her Sunday?) wheel the wonderful big bird around and nimbly "park" her ready for her next flight. Needless to say I was very impressed!! Astonishing to see the small turning circle of a Dak!! You will see it in the last few seconds of the clip.
As I get time I will post some one or two other clips of the day. I use a little Sony Handy-Cam so could not get decent ground to air footage due to the distance from the flight/display line and the hangars obstructing my view. (Can I also get an orange vest next time…. Pleaaaasseeee!!!) ;D
I have added some music to the clip. Not sure if it works for this clip... I was trying something... Let me know if the music is irritating and I will repost without the music!
Regards
