Excellent photos there Les. Was there an actual special occasion hey were marking or was it more a case of the engineering schedules and availability of aircraft and crews all matched up so they thought it would make a good photoshoot?
The No. 3 Squadron formation would be a very impressive sight and sound. .I'm amazed they'll have enough crews to do that.

Something we have been planning for a while. Just a co-incidence in the servicing schedules that none were in a phase although immediately after this flight one did its pre phase test flight ready for the new year. Also a bit of a fluke none were badly broken although some late hours wroked in the last few days, to those who know what they are, the least LADR's were 12, the most 28.

Well done No. 6 Squadron.
Is this the first time they've all been aloft in formation?

Well done to all involved. I know how much effort is required to get them all up at the same time and it is a moment to celebrate and cherish. Looking forward to seeing the 3 Sqn 19 ship photos too! I should be able to hear them from Christchurch ;D ;D

A sight not to be seen in Australia. Great photos, looks like it was a lovely day in AKL.
