For the spotters and anyone who may have some info, there is an all white BAe 146 'Whisper Jet' parked in Air National's maintenance hangar on the northern apron (C1 area) at Auckland. Does anyone know what it's doing here? Is it a private jet or is it going to be operated on freight/pax ops?
Also discovered on my travels the past few days, a former Origin Pacific J31 is being repainted at Nelson and is apparently going to be operated by Vincent Aviation on the Airways calibration flights (the F406 has been sold I am told). The chatter is that the B1900's are off overseas (unsure where) and the Dash 8 is off to the Solomons for a while on a contract. I guess Eagle and Air Nelson have less requirement for these companies' services at the moment, so it makes sense to find work elsewhere.
Anyone able to substantiate these? Just curious.

Joe, the 146 is now part of the Air National fleet. Vincents are as of this month no longer required by Eagle as the 18th 1900 is up and running. They have provided a great service for Air NZ Link as the route structure has been expanded and new routes explored.
I like the 146 - four oil leaks connected by an electrical fault...

Thankyou guys. It sure made me curious to see the overall white 146 in the hangar.

Is this 146 going to be subbed to "Kiwi Jet" who recently announced they were going to start out as a freight operation using 146's before expanding to pax services before end of 09?
