Here are a couple of photos from the flight with Sounds Air. A great experience and special thanks to Andrew and Craig for making the flight possible. A nice day made all the difference, a bit rough towards the end but a good result. Thanks also to Al for flying the Chang.

Top quality shots Gavin, Sounds Air must be very pleased with how they have turned out.

yip, they are happy, sounds like there are framed photos on office walls in the US already as the owners sent some shots over.

Yeah Gav it was a good mission and well worth doing. It is the Soundsair equivalent of 3 Squadron's 19 shippa recently. Here is the photo of my shutter-bug mate that I took on the way back to Omaka. The funnest bit about doing Air2airs with Gav is listening to the squeal as he removes the insulation tape that has been holding his headset on to his head.... ;D

Nice photo Al. I'm wondering where the desert is in that first shot, it looks like the Middle East. Seriously, is that the cliffs at Whites Bay?

Dude, that is the coastline near Marfells Beach between the salt works and Cape Campbell. It is a few minutes south est of the Awatere River mouth.

Without the cargo pod you appreciate that those gear legs are pretty substantial!

Thanks for that photo Al. At 130-140 knots the tape does help sometimes.
