I would go further and say that that is one of, if not the best site, I have seen in this particular field.
Congratulations, leading edge stuff.

That is a magnificent site Gavin. Once I got it to load up (slow on dial up) I was very impressed. Much better than the old one.

Thanks for the feeback. I thought it might drag a bit on dial up. Have just loaded the the remaining stuff I had left onto the site so everything added from this point will be new. Good to hear its a lot better than the old one as I needed to hear that as its been a lot of work the week but all done now.

As usual, Gavin, the quality of photography is exemplary. These are some of the best images available anywhere.
However there are a couple of niggles with the site itself. I realise that these are probably due to the ifp3 framework and may be beyond your control.
The ifp3 website says that there is a "built-in search facility". Have you chosen not to implement that feature? If I were a magazine editor looking for an image to buy for my magazine, being able to type in some keywords and get a range of possible matches would be a valuable tool. I guess that would mean a lot more work for you in assigning search tags to images though.
Also, I couldn't work out what order the scrolling list of galleries is in. Is it just in the order they were added to the catalogue? Or are they in order of the date the photos were taken? Having to use the slow "hover over the up/down arrow to scroll" technique without knowing where you are going makes finding images a bit harder.
The only other comment I have is purely my personal prejudice... as an old-timer in the IT game, I am always a bit nervous when a site decides to hide my browser menus, address bar and tool bar. It always makes me wonder what it is trying to conceal.
As I say, these are probably all related to the ifp3 framework and are minor issues compared to the quality of the images it contains.
Good work.
Cheers

thanks for that.
I have turned the search feature off until I get a chance to get everything up to speed. It is easy to do but getting all of the photos uploaded first was the priority.
The scrolling list will be based on date of upload. At this time it is random as its all of the material from my old site but the newer stuff will be on the top of the list from here on in.
Cheers Gavin
