Just found this story by Bob McNeil from 20/20, screened as part of the D-Day 50th anniversary commemorations: ,
I'd not seen this before, and it was very touching to see Johnnie reunited with his former groundcrew, as well as his old mount, ML407.
I found myself totally absorbed by this amazing character, and it was stunning to see him at his old watering hole.
Very poignant for tomorrow, I thought.

Yes, that's a great clip, and apparently it is to be rescreened tomorrow during the TV3 ANZAC coverage, I'm told.
