Top shots mate. Well done to the de Havilland pilots too. Very pretty aircraft in perfect conditions.
A question to Ryan, can these photos be recreated anywhere in the world outside of New Zealand. My guess is no.
That DH-90 is a work of art.
Well done to all!!

Simply magnificent Gavin! You could do a great calendar for the Croydon Aircraft Company from this selection!
Hats off to the pilots and ground crew supporters at Mandeville too, New Zealand's foremost nostalgia factory!

Al, the UK has numerous DH89's flying and the world's only other DH90 (looking lovely in a red scheme) but I'm not certain if they have a Fox Moth there though. So maybe this is unique to NZ?
I agree that the Dragonfly is a work of art, it doesn't have a single bad angle.

Superb shots Gav! I agree, full credit to CAC for their amazing work with wood and fabric these past decades. The 1st and 8th shots are my favourites.
Can't wait to see more A2A from the show......especially any of the Be.

Limited amount of photos from the flight, was always going to share the flight with another photographer (Jarrod Cotter from the UK) and we got a short orbit each but their will be other times. It was great that Jarrod could fly with this magnificent aircraft as well as he had come a long way to see it. I think it may have been the first air 2 air session with the aircraft from what Jarrod told me. Pretty happy with this shot though.

Gavin, that's a magic shot! Were you onboard the Tiger Moth that was flying around with the Be2f that evening?

Sorry for not replying Al. As Dave suggests the only other place in the world you might see something like that would be the UK. There are a couple of Fox's flying over there that I am aware of, possibly 3.
