If I won big Wednesday would they consider letting me pay for new RNZAF paint schemes? Fantastic photos btw

Awesome photos ;D
If the Corsair were to be repainted (huge what if..) it would be nice in 14 Squadron's colours they wore to Japan as part of J Force. I believe that Corsair is an FG-1D? Not a F4U-1 as depicted?
Which brings me to a slightly off topic question
That tail wheel bump, was that part of the original aircraft or an add on during restoration?
All the photos I have seen of RNZAF FG-1D's either don't appear to have it, or the photo is taken at such an angle to make it difficult to see.

Lovely photos ! Really interesting to look at the air to air shots , and see just how much "flap "Keith has down ( some ) , compared to Stu ( none by the looks of it )

Always love to see these magnificent aircraft, and as always I am so grateful to James Slade for keeping them in NZ. Great shots as always, Gav. Did you get the chance for more A2A with the Spitfire at Omaka?
That said, I too would love to have them in Kiwi schemes.

The Spitfire didnt fly any Air 2 Air flights at the show. The team wanted to focus on the actual airshow flying and the photographers respected the owners wishes which was good.
Is so nice to see an Spitfire flying in New Zealand again.

Awesome photos ;D That tail wheel bump, was that part of the original aircraft or an add on during restoration? Don't know, but it had "the bump" when it was at MOTAT...
