Just a note top wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a safe and happy New Year.
It's been another great year here on the forum, and we've just about doubled our membership in 2007, with lots more discussion and traffic on the forum than ever before. I really appreciate all the members here, and enjoy all your posts, etc.
I look forward very much to meeting many of you on teh 12th of January at our Waikato gathering.
Best wishes one and all, Dave!

Merry Christmas (or "God Jul" as they say up here) to you and yours Dave and all the best for the coming year.
And many thanks for all the great work you do with the forum Dave and making it a damn fine place to visit.
Wish I could make it to the get together but I'll sink a few in its honour!

Great photos Kereru!
I made the mistake one night round last Christmas of driving up Franklin to get back to home in Grey Lynn. I'd completely forgotten it was Christmas time, came roaring past Vicky Park market, turned onto Franklin road and hit complete gridlock. Took nearly 10 minutes to make it up to Ponsonby Rd.
But they look great and it's a fun thing. Just don't go Franklin if you're in a hurry!

Neat photos Colin! I love that palm tree!
Think of all the carbon credits being wasted though, I'm surprised Helen and the Greens haven't abolished Christmas...

To Dave and rest of the forum, Merry Christmas and happy New year. May we all eat too much (drinking is up to you), not get too sun burnt and may our minds be refreshed to carry on discussing the world of man and aviation as we know it.... Best wishes Alan

Yes, it's that time of the year again.
May the Great Fat Man deliver all sorts of goodies to forum members and their friends and families, and my especial good wishes go to Flyjoe180 and his hopes for a "good boy's" present.
For myself, it'll be Mrs FlyCookie, our three under-10 sproglets, Mrs FC's parents and our next door neighbours. And our three cats, of course. For the first time I think I've cracked a successful recipe for Christmas Pudding, and hope to introduce this fruit and suet stomach ballast to the assembled savages with full flames a'crackling!
To one and all, a very, very Merry Christmas.

Do you put coins in the ballast pudding? Make sure they are biggies! Keep the dentist on retainer. And a Merry Xmas from him.

Safe travels! Don't hit Santa, I understand he is still busy in the northern hemisphere. And like so many of us, I bet he doesn't have TCAS!
