Hey guy's, i have finished the model and have quite a few spare parts if someone would like them, front cowling tyres, wheels, engine ( all still on sprues ) finished the model as Nz2519 laying half stripped at rukuhia, so a few parts left over, basically nose area stuff.

Awesome work - even the bird poop down the fin! Do the wings on the model fold?

What a fabulous idea and the execution is brilliant as well.
There's a Guy over in the UK done something similar with an Airfix E.E. Lightning, it's up on Britmodeller.

well thank you all for the kind coments, i actually built the model for a very good friend of mine, who has a keen interest in rukuhia and had the model in storage. he asked me to make it as this aircraft as he had seen a photo of ( which was also posted here, when i came looking for photo's of avengers at rukuhia ), so it was great to make it for a friend who allready has a small aviation collection of "stuff". The wings do fold and it will go into a display cabinet as such, hense why the bird poo is also on the trailing edges of the mainplanes. i understand that the real aircraft would not have been stored that way but it's so bloody big it wont fit any other way.....
So would anyone like these bits and bobs that are left over or should i make another small model of a rubbish pile at Mr Larsons.
