Had a bit of time to kill on Monday afternoon (13th Jul) so parked up at the viewing bay overlooking the threshold of runway 16 for an hour or so.... Bit of a dark and gloomy day, but the flat light made for some reasonably atmospheric shots on a winter afternoon B737 ZK-NGJ Air Wanganui King Air ZK-MKG Qantas B737 ZK-JNN trailing vortices. Note how the fuselage has been cleaned around the forward cabin door where the airbridge connects.... Tomahawk ZK-FML A320 ZK-OJH Q300 or DHC-8 (can't tell the difference by sight if there is any ) ZK-NEB

Wouldn't mind the accesories being a bit less pricey or scarce though. My next hypothetical camera might be a Nikon or Canon for that reason.

Love the CV-580, a real classic. I believe one of the instructors I fly with has some time on CV-580s, I keep meaning to ask him what they're like to fly.
