Today I was asked to take some photos for Ridge Air for marketing purposes. This company is based at Omaka. We were to fly over to Woodbourne to get some shots of the aircraft on the tarmac and they also wanted the other views seen here. Here is our ride. VAD once belonged to Vincent and the aircraft has been upgraded since coming on line with Ridge Air. It has flash new leather seats that are very comfortable, new avionics and has received some sound proofing in fact a reduction of 10 decibels has been achieved. The office: Final approach to Woodbourne: Shut down: This is a very nice plane which photographs well in conditions like this: Pilot for the flights was Bill Larsen (left) and local Aero Club instructor Travis Tennant joined him: The passengers then boarded: Then we headed back to Omaka: Here is an Air 2 Air taken late last year. A good day out and nice to go along for a couple of rides without canopies or doors missing. Have always liked the 402 very sleek and it doesnt take long to chop through the Omaka circuit. Not sure if photos like these are of interest but thought I would post them anyway.

The passengers were people involved in the business so no charge for that. We did have a good look around on the way back to Omaka.

I'm fairly sure I went to Wanaka once in that 402, when owned by Vincent!

I'm fairly sure I went to Wanaka once in that 402, when owned by Vincent! Not quite......We went in -VAB to Wanaka in 1996: The other two times we flew down we were with Air New Zealand or Airwork I think

Talking of Vincent Aviation, they just took dlivery of their latest fleet addition today, Jetstream 31 ZK-JSH which will be used for airways calibration work in NZ and around the Pacific. JSH was one of the Jetstreams lying around Nelson in a direlect state after the demise of Origin Pacific.
