Someone in Qantas has an appreciation of history

Well, it would appear someone in Qantas has a good appreciation of history. I recently got issued my Silver Frequent Flyer card (wife used to fly a lot for work so I rode on her coat-tails so to speak). Just removed the card from the envelope/booklet it's attached to and noticed the name on the card pictured beneath...

W H Fysh. Had a rather satisfied chuckle at that.

That was mentioned in the recent book Charles Kingsford Smith and those magnificent men. Apparently W H Fysh appears on all QANTAS ads where a name is required, such as on Frequent flyer cards etc.

It's a nice touch for QANTAS to remember it's past like that.
