That blue cockpit colour is supposed to sooth and be easy on the eyes when flying (especially at night apparently)

That's interesting actually, I've often wondered why they seem to choose such a strange colour for their cockpits.

I built a kit of one of these about a month ago. Zvezda 1:72, did a fantasy paint scheme on it. See for yourself and see if u recognise the scheme. (if i can work out how to post pictures) Sorry bout the huge photos

I'm a bit late, but I'd like to eventually build a kit of bord 8008 so this is much appreciated!
I do like the NZ1076-schemed MiG, very clever and it looks good on the airframe.

It took me almost six years to the day, but I finally have a MiG-21 kit on the bench for this project! These photos will be a fantastic help, thank you Mr Stu!
