Well well well, what have we here I thought when I opened the back doors to the truck and trailer from Nelson/Blenheim this morning. For those shops off the main roads of the South Island, Tip Top is coming to a store near you , faster, (maybe) and as reliable as ever. Apparantely from the stables of Omaka is this 3/4 scale Piper Cub ready for another go at restoration with a yet another different owner. Sure beats emptying a full load of empty crates every day.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that a few loaves of bread acting as padding for the horizontal stabiliser? ?

I hope it gets finished I looked and looked and looked at Trademe and tried soooo hard to convince my wife that this would be a great addition to the garage for a year or 2 (or 5). If it had been in The Waikato and not the top of the south, it "may" have been different... Good luck with the build.

Just go for a low carb diet: Don't eat any bread!

Of course a low carb diet has other benefits for flying......reduced likelihood of carb icing for one
