I had a great weekend in Whitianga and really enjoyed the show. A great bonus was that the "bach" had a huge deck on three sides and was on the flight line for planes taking off! Got to see the DC3 and Catalina at low level at the end of the day The day started well watching all the aircraft arriving from all points before even heading down to the air field. I finally got a photobucket account, so here a couple of my better shots. Really need to clean my lenses and upgrade from film SLR... Such a nice aircraft! Went for one of their scenic flights last year. My wife was about 5 months pregnant at the time, but still liked it too! Seven Yak's up together was impressive. Very nice looking little jet. Both my shots with the two jets in frame came out blurry...

Who flew the Lear Jet?
Who flew the three Chipmunks?
Who flew the Dove (Devon?)?
Who flew the Provost? Was that Mike or Steve Subritzky? Confirmed as Steve Subritzky, thanks Steve and Lorna!
Who flew the Cessna Aerobat? Was that Phill Hooker? It looked like his style
Who flew the Squirrel that raced the car (which appears to have blown up or something?)
Who flew the Focke Wulf replica that day?
Who flew the L-39 Albatross?
