On Saturday went down to Tokoroa for the annual autumn fly - in held there. It was a bit cloudy, and as always pretty cold, but there was a great turnout of visiting aircraft - Quite a varied selection in fact. Following are some photos, excuse the poor lighting levels, the cloudiness wasnt ideal: Phil Hooker using the Bell 47 as a bottle opener One of the two Mosquitos present also has a go: Various Gyrocopters: General view of visiting aircraft - quite a variety of shapes! Easily the ugliest aircraft - Ganagobie Mousebird JLO : Nicer looking classics: Could be a scene from 40 years ago: (Tiger Moth, Auster J1 and Ford Prefect) Nice new PiperSport (ex SportCruizer) from the Chzech Republic: Compatriot Zlin Savage: 'Hooks' tries out Bruce Belfields Safari - an interesting comparison with the bell 47

Great shots, Bruce.
As you said, a good turnout of aircraft, despite the weather.
