You'd be hard pushed to find a sexier looking aircraft than the Staggerwing...that one (and Mr C's old one) are stunning examples!

A great selection Gavin. I think we've seen a number of them before but it's always nice to see them again. I had forgotten how wonderful it is to see the seven Fokkers together. I wonder if we'll ever see it again.
And yes, the Staggerwing is gorgeous!

Hi Dave, have posted most of these on Facebook but am starting to think that is a waste of time. Facebook has been great in terms of tracking down a couple of very special friends from the past but thats about it.

I don't think Facebook as a whole is a waste of time. In terms of posting photos I think they are better off being posted on sites like this, thats all I mean. The photos appear bigger here which I like and I can't seem to make the photos as big as these are here.
As I say catching up with a couple of old friends has been great.

Stunning photos Gavin, especially the Fokkers in the sunset. I agree with regard to the photo size issue on Facebook compared to here but rest assured that, like no doubt many others, I still drool over the shots you've been posting on Facebook as well as here Keep up the great work

Hi Stu, Thanks for that, am sure the designers of Facebook never intended it to be a photo gallery and its interesting to note that over 900 people keep an eye on the photography page and some seem to be very impressed as to the aircraft we have flying here in NZ so thats great. Might just carry on posting some photos on both sites Have some new flights to get underway soon but the weather over the past few weeks have made things difficult but am sure we will get something done soon.

I try to stay away from Facebook as much as possible, as it does not like my computer and is very unfriendly to dial up too. Plus I simply doin't have time for it. So I appreciate the photos here Gavin.

I love the swarm of Triplanes it must have been an amazing sight. I also think the Mount Cook schemed Tiger Moth is a very pretty aircraft. And that shot of the Catalina is one you don't see often with the wing upper surface. Reminds me of a wartime shot of a Catalina I've seen. Well done Gav 10/10!!
