I got Rise of Flight downloaded (ages ago) using a download manager (thoroughly recommended). For those of us (like myself) who need instruction there is a free training school which I found today. It is aimed at newbies before they go live onto online Rise of Flight. |

New Wings is a fantastic server for newbies. They also have NW Battlegrounds set up for a more realistic experience (although that particular server isn't aimed at new players).
Looking foward to seeing another kiwi online, there aren't many of us.

Might have to get it and have a go. I hear from a fan of it at work that there is something called "The World of Aeroplanes" coming out. Anyone know about this?

Ah. There are two games with similar names. One is World of Warplanes. The other used to be World of Planes, but presumably to avoid confusion the name changed to War Thunder. Neither of them are much of a simulator, but they seem ok if you like arcady shoot-em-up type of flying games.
