This is a video clip of a rare FW190D which is the V12 Jumo powered version of the FW190. Unlike most Allied fighters of the time is the method used to start the engine. The 109 was the same.
This particular aircraft is not flying but has been restored to an airworthy condition and is in the USA.
Certainly a fun way to build up those arm muscles. ;D

The Auster should be recognised for what it is: a gentleman's aerial touring carriage and a nice aeroplane.

Mind you its 60 years later and I'm sure the German ground crews had it down to a fine art!
