I all. My name is Fabio and I am Italian. Obviously I live in Italy, in a small place not far from Udine and close to Rivolto Air Base, which is the Italian Aerobatic team's (the famous Frecce Tricolori) homebase.
I am a great aviation fan and, at the same time, I am also an aviation patches collector. I like to make a collection especially of Italian Air Force patches but I also like to collect badges about "Italian airplanes" adopted by foreign air forces, such as AerMacchi MB 326 (or Impala), AerMacchi MB 339, SIAI SF 260, SIAI S 211, FIAT G 91: I mean all the Italian aircraft bought and used by Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina etc...
This is the reason why I am contacting You. Infact, by surfing on the Internet, I found this beautiful aviation forum where, in this sub board, rnzaf.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Postwar&action=display&thread=1896
many patches about 14° sqn and RNZAF MB 339 are shown. So, the thing I would like to ask, is if anyone of You has got some of the patches of RNZAF's MB 339 and some of the other airplanes patches I said before, for sale or to swap, because I think these badges are very interesting and unfortunately are so hard to find in Italy. In particular I like the MB 339's ones, but I find that even BAC 167's one is nice; however, I will report some photo below, so that, You can understand what I am talking about.
Well, I imagine I have been so boring, so I will concluse my message, first of all, by giving You my excuses for my bad English, and then by sending You my greetings from Italy.
So, in conclusion, If anyone of You wants to sell or swap some of the patches I said before, feel free to contact me: I am sure We can find an agreement. Bye all, see You soon.
