Great shots Ian. I have no idea what half of those aeroplanes are though. Can you please add names and details to the photos perhaps, and for the well known types like the Pliatus Turbo Porter, why they are there? I assume there must be some new techology added into the airframe for it to be featuring - I'm amazed they're still building these machines after all these years. They are awesome though.

Blue jet is M346 which is the new jet trainer by Macchi. Italians plue UAE have ordered them. I think the Porter was a new one. Red aeroplane below the porter was the PC21 which is the next generation of the PC9....Singapore Air Force are having theirs delivered now. Big chopper is the E101. Was a Danish Air Force one....huge helicopter...very advanced. C27 again below that.....C27 did an amazing display...threw it round like a fighter. The UHi was the new Y model. I think it had been stretched plus 2 engines new 4 bladed rotors etc....looked very smart

Neat to see the Vulcan in the background of the A380, and then being towed to the runway.... did XH558 fly at all?
I for one like the A380, isn't it freaky to see the flex in the wings though? Eeek!
Is that a UH-1Y Venom? Or a "stock" 412 modified in some way?
A nice selection of types we may never see in NZ,

Wow, I had no idea they were still building Twin Otters, and I am astonished to see they are still building Grumman Goose (Geese?). The design must be about 75 years old. Fantastic, obviously there's still a market for them.

Is that a UH-1Y Venom? Or a "stock" 412 modified in some way? Aviation Week Farnbourgh - International Huey. U.S Marine Corps UH-1Y to Foreign Market. The U.S. Marines are hoping to drum up international interest in the upgraded Huey, the UH-1Y Yankee. Great Photo's VS All Very Cool Thanks for Posting them - cheers.

I'm sorry, the "New Goose" looks terrible with the Dorsal spine and turbine engines - give me a classic R985 powered example any day!

I think the C27 would be a great new light transport for the RNZAF....that plus some A400 would be the vs way of the future
