Thought I might get in early and book my accomodation for Easter next year..... Well folks I had trouble finding a motel vacancy for that time but have managed to find a place... suggest anyone who hasn't made their booking to get cracking !!! Even the Top Ten Holiday Park in Picton is slim on vacancies

Im lucky ( I think ) , I live in Blenheim , but Im not gonna be leaving it till the last minute to get tickets to the show either . They have some " early bird " pricing , worth a look , especially if your looking to book things this far out .

I'll most likely grab one of the NZ Railway Staff Welfare Trust units at Picton again. We can book them six months ahead of the date of occupancy on a first-come, first-served basis. As Easter will be in the middle of school holidays next year, we will be heading over to Picton the weekend before Easter, so we'll book the unit for a few days prior to that (they're cheap enough to do that) in order to ensure we get ahead of any of my workmates who want to grab the unit we want. That tactic has secured the unit for the last two Classic Fighers airshows, so it should do the trick again this time. I will be able to book it in October.

Well Teresa, my brother Ken (obiwan27) and I are pretty much sorted for Classic Fighters. For 2009 Teresa and I used Maui Campers and really enjoyed the experience so have gone the same for this show. My Visa card is creaking under the strain but since it hasn't exploded I think I will be ok ;D Managed to secure a powered site at the Blenheim Top 10 holiday park for the three days. We stayed there for one night to recharge last time so as they had sites available I grabbed them. If anyone wants to contact them here is the website: www.blenheimtop10.co.nz/Last thing to do is buy the discounted Gold Pass tickets and we are ready for Classic Fighters 2011!!!!! Whoooo hooooooo!! Oh and lets try to have a forum member meet up up there!

Forum members usually meet up at the MAC clubrooms after each day's flying concludes Baz.

No idea where I'll stay but I intend to be there, do not want to miss a Classic Fighters if I can help it. Miss Rachel isn't sure she can get time off work but will try.

IF CKE gets going in time, I may take it down to Omaka, subject to leave availability etc. As by the time I can actually confirm any of those plans, it will be too late to get a motel, I'd guess A tent would be the answer.....
