Hi Forumites, I thought I'd use this network to try and locate some bits I need for my Harvard restoration.
For starters, would anyone know where I might find LH and RH Mae West wheel well fairings.?
Any leads Massively appreciated. Regards Peter Mac

Best person here to contact would be harvard1041 - look him up on the members listing, there is an email.

Yeah, I know John Saunders, . . I have him in my sights. Just thought I'd keep a general "eyes peeled." Cheers

Thought I'd also list a few of the other "wants" here also. You never know whats out there. All this stuff is avail in the US but the cost makes it prohibitive for a static project. Sooooo . . .
* Long metal panels that run from the front to the back of the cockpit frame ( both sides) and sits on the canopy support brackets, sandwiches between those and the canopy rail channels.
* tail group horizontals. i.e: horiz stab and elevator.
Thanks heaps for any leads, ideas . . . . .

Any luck so far, Peter? I for one would love to see (and read) updates on the restoration as and when you can spare time Sorry I can't help with any parts, but I'm more than happy to offer my moral support!

No luck yet Zac. A bit of a long shot with things like Mae Wests. I thought I'd have a go on this forum cos you just never know whats around. When I've got some time, I'll try to remember how to post pics here, and throw some up of my modest bitsa Harvard. Moral support always welcomed.
