Hello, I believe posting this is OK as per the forum rules. If it is not, please excuse me and delete the thread as I do not wish to spam. I am a franco-american aviation artist specialized in highly detailled and accurate "profile" drawings. Some of my latest creations include the Spitfire: www.gaetanmarie.com/en/Supermarine%20Spitfire.htmand Tiger Moth: www.gaetanmarie.com/en/de%20Havilland%20D.H.82%20Tiger%20Moth.htmI've also done quite a few other types (Mosquito, Mustang, Tomahawk, Mitchell, etc.). I'm currently working on the Lancaster and will be doing the Hurricane and Typhoon soon. You can visit my portfolio website ( www.gaetanmarie.com) or online shop ( www.bravobravoaviation.com) to see more of my drawings. Prints of various sizes can be purchased, starting at 5€. I haven't done much concerning the RNZAF but I'm available for commissions. I can be contacted by email at webmaster[AT]gaetanmarie[DOT]com. I'll come back later on to show some more of my work, as I'm expecting to be asked to represent some RNZAF aircraft in the future. Best regards, Gaëtan Marie PS: I can't seem to figure out how to show the images, sorry.

I really like your artworks. I'm not sure about the reason why they won't show here. You might have to put them onto Photobucket.

I'm glad you like the drawings. Cc. Clostermann, I don't know that much about him. I first discovered his book The Big Show when I was 10 or 12 and I thoroughly enjoyed it (and read it 6 or 7 times at least). I've never read in English, because I can read French, so as a result I don't know if it's any good in English. Translations are almost never as good as the original. I admire him for his actions in WW2 but mostly for his humility, open mind and devotion to his cause and country. He's been somewhat criticized in the UK because he praised the Argentine pilots' courage during the Falklands war. I've always thought that it was a very sad business. dave Homewood: I love that picture of the Harvards you use as sig! When I do that model, I'll have to draw that one. BTW is there a way to be notified by emails of answers to posts? I couldn't find that in the settings.

Had a browse through your site gamary, nice profiles. The Harvard and other RNZAf schemes would be popular here probably. I can't see the ones you posted above either.
