Found this footage of ZK-VNM (J-1799) after its first "restoration" in the USA in the 1980s. It is the black - painted aircraft in this video. It was painted in this scheme when I helped unload it at Ardmore in 1992 before its NZ restoration (the US work appeared to be mainly cosmetic tidy - up, there were quite a few things we do differently in NZ when we restore vintage aircraft!) Looks cold in Vermont!
