In the work i have been doing to research, find and film interviews with WWII veterans I have come to realise just how rare it seems to be to find living RNZAF P-40 Kitthawk/Warhawk pilots who saw operational flying experience.
So far I have found and filmed: - Geoffrey Fisken - John Arkwright - Tony Pierard
I know also of: - One chap I won't name who does not want to be filmed, which is sad as he flew with No. 15 Squadron on P-40's, then 21 Squadron on Corsairs becoming a Flight Commander, and then topdressers postwar
- Geoff Highet who was keen to be filmed but just before i got to Christchurch to do so he suffered a massive heart attack and is now no longer capable healthwise to sustain the stress of it all. This is very sad as i met and chatted with him and his memory is remarkable, and he of course had a long career well into the jet era.
- I was also informed about Noel Hanna in Gisborne, and at first he wasn't answering his phone and then he has disappeared from the phone directory so i guess we missed him.
Despite following many leads and doing lots of research, i cannot identify any more genuine operational P-40 pilots that are still with us. Has anyone here got any leads?

I can follow up Noel Hanna for you and see if he is still with as.
I dont know if it is interest to you but I have a PV-1 rear gunner living around the corner from me in Gisborne. There is also from a Mosquito navigator (war time not post) hes was involved in Operation Jericho I talk to him when he is a the gym I think he must be about 94 now
