Thank you for that info, Zac. Nicely timed, as I was able to travel that road on Friday and find the site of the artwork. There are two barns painted and easily able to be seen from the roadside. The one visible from the eastern end is of the two Airtruks: The second item, on a separate building, is end-on to the road and presumably is of a local vista: Date painted on the work is 2005, and were presumably painted by a skilled local. The site is 20.8km (by GPS) from central Rotorua on SH30.

That is most interesting, and a welcome addition to the resource.
Thank you.

Good afternoon all
As a new member I am very impressed with the Airtruck material on this discussion
I have had a long interest in these machines (I used to watch them test fly in and out of Bankstown in particular
I am trying to obtain a complete production list of the Transavia products - can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Best regards
Ian McDonell

That could be a problem, as airtruk said on page 1 of this thread:
"From all accounts between 120 -150 were produced and no one seems to be able to answer the question as to how many.... even Transavia/ Transfield are a little confused when it comes to how many where built and I understood that none were built from scratch in New Zealand "

The numbers go up to 117. A few of those were just fuse frames and there are some frames that were never allocated a c/n. Within those numbers, NZ108, NZ109, NZ111 & NZ112 were New Zealand built and had a NZ Type Certificate.

Many thanks gentlemen, much appreciated
This will be a much more difficult task than I expected
I intend to initially produce a list of known PL12s showing where photos are available on the net
You Kiwis have done a great job on that part of the types history
Again thanks, Ian

The email address to Des in this post is not working for me. I'd like to communicate with Des at SlipStream Models about the Airtruk. I'm interested in kit or plans. Assistance making contact will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello again all
I have been working for some time gathering data from the web and other sources trying to get the complete list of PL12s - some task indeed
I also want to go to Powerhouse and see what they have, but would be interested in finding out if anyone else has had any success there
I can email my version of the list to anyone who wants it - not complete and may have some inaccuracies
I cannot find anything about the following construction sequence numbers - add date for c/n
43, 44, 45 and 46 79 and 80 98 100
If you can help it would be appreciated
The brilliant work on this site made the NZ stuff pretty easy - thanks flyernzi
I want to add all photos available to my list at some stage and will be asking permission to use your images please

This is the one at Bankstown Museum although it says has been made up of parts from several others. No hopper inside, just a seat under the cockpit. Not sure if this has been posted here before. Graeme
