Hi all!
Some time ago Wanganui Aero Work owned a Hughes 500, ZK-HLL. I'd love to see pictures of it - we used to have a shot of it painted yellow, but unfortunately its disappeared over the years.
Always been a MASSIVE fan of 500Cs, and I think HLL started that fanaticism! The rego is now allocated to an R44, so goodness knows where she is now.

Hughes 369HS 500C ZK-HLL came to us from Honduras via the USA. Imported by James Aviation 1980, then passed to WAW in 1981. Sold to Oceania Helicopters NZ Ltd., Auckland in 1998, spent time with Skywork Helicopters Ltd., Warkworth 2001 - 2002, back to Oceania, off to a private owner in Wellington, and cancelled as 'Sold Abroad' (nobody seems to know where) in November 2007. Seen in WAW colours with two friends at Taupo on a wet day in 1996:  |

If you are still interested I have a colour shot of HLL in red with white trim painted up as Waiouru Station and with white spray booms stacked underneath taken at Wanganui late 70's?
Also HOQ working with a bucket off a WAW yellow 'Hitlers revenge" off a hill near SH1 near Taihape probably mid 80's.

Unfortunately a Windows update a few months back wiped by laptop's hard drive clean, so I'm trying to re-gather photos.
If anyone has any of yellow ZK-HLL they're willing to share I'd be grateful to hear from you.

If you are still interested, I have 2 shots of Zk-HLL in yellow colour scheme taken (I think) at Flat Hills near Taihape, either 1989 or 1990
