Celebrating 60 years of commercial aerial agricultural operations in New Zealand.
It would be most appreciated if you would consider forwarding this on to anyone whom you think might be interested. The sort of folk that might wish to consider attending could include current or ex. operators, loader drivers, aircraft and loader engineers, office staff, management, field reps., operations personnel, spouses and partners etc., and that other strange and primitive Neanderthal-like species; the pilots.
The Masterton/Wairarapa team are a really good lot so I feel certain that they will ensure that all visitors experience a most memorable visit and reunion.
For those not personally familiar with the Wairarapa region, I can advise that it is a most attractive and interesting area and is, of course, handy to Wellington as well.
I have been to the "Solway Park" venue many times for conferences and can advise that it is a most attractive and spacious setting and handy to both the town centre and the historic 'Hood' aerodrome with its vintage aircraft collection.
Reflecting back over all the previous Ag. reunions that I have attended, I am quite certain that they were the best of all the many aviation social events that we aviation people seem to go to during our lives.
Whilst we have lost so many of our compatriots over the decades, there are still many that are hale and hearty (or can at least hobble about day-dreaming of airstrips, favourite aircraft and our old chums) but, in the natural order of mortal affairs, I know that this will be the last opportunity to share time with some......look forward to seeing you there.
