Brilliant, thanks Rod. I really appreciate that. I will add them to the website when I get my computer fixed (it's not well right now!).
I love these covers, but then I love the Hudson. And don't those Oxfords look menacing and agressive.
It is interesting to see the Governor-General on one cover too. He upset a lot of people by beginning a speech on the wireless with something along the lines of "Men of the Army, Boys of the Navy and Gentlemen of the Air Force..." which apparently created much class distinction tension between the armed services of NZ. Some army chaps began to get bumptious towards airmen due to this, and they used to call the RNZAF guys 'Blue Orchids' because they were treated so much better. Funny really.
I hope we'll see a bit more of you around the forum mate. Your input is always appreciated.
