Was it the Buccaneer that was the platform upon which the 1980s RAF documentary series "Fighter Pilot" was based? Where it followed the trainee pilots all the way from selection onward? I loved that series.

I loved that series. EDIT: Hey it's on Youtube ;D Yup, the only one of the starring trainees that wound up on fast jets went to Buccaneers. There were others on the course that did not feature in the TV series, and I think at least one went on to the Phantom. |
