I picked up a copy of an excellent documentary about Bomber Command called 'Enemy Coast Ahead' (DD Video, 2002) for just $1 on Trademe a while back.
In it is a fascinating piece of footage ofof No. 487 (NZ) Squadron's first ever bombing raid, a low level attack on the Philips Factory in Eindhoven.
I am wondering, as photos exist of Len Trent's own bombing run from his aircraft from that raid, was the camera actually in his plane for the film documentary? Anyone know?
The video also has the classic Amiens raid footage and loads more excellent film. Very good, well worht the $1 (+$3 postage!!!)
