Did the first flight on this lovely Pitts S1 today at North Shore. The owner/builder purchased the plans in 1974!!!!! It has taken a while to build, but is well worth it.

In all honesty, about the aircraft...No. About being able to handle the aircraft....No. About an emergency, well I am expecting that to happen at any time, so....No. Letting down the people that have trusted me with something that has been part of their life for 37 years..........well a little bit, but at the time I can't remember thinking about it.
