I've never seen one for $70 (except one on Trademe), the normal price in the model shops in Auckland $46 - $50. I'm not sure how much Mr Models is charging though, is that where you've seen it for $70? Mr Models online Revell $61.30 but showing as out of stock

Thanks zkiwi - that is a beautiful photo. It would make a great poster for RNZAf recruiting purposes.

Seen in side on silouete profile like that the NH90 has quite a parrot-beak shape doesn't it?

Seen in side on silouete profile like that the NH90 has quite a parrot-beak shape doesn't it? Certainly does. Looks like the RNZAF isn't fitting the FLIR pod, which accentuates the parrot-beak look. What's the reason for this, given that pretty much all other users are fitting it?

Parrot beak...does that mean that the NH90 takes over the hallowed nickname of Squawk? ;-)

Love the French civil rego stuck in the back window - reminds you of cars with dealer plates hung on with one screw!

Those solid looking blocks on the forward upper of both side of the fuselage, are they the mounting points for pylons for missiles or external fuel tanks. and if so it would mean to me that we are looking at getting pylons with ours. as if not I am sure they could have been omitted in the construction.

Here is the only pic I could find of external fuel tanks fitted. Not sure if it fits what you refer to? But looks like some form of MER/TER holding the tank in place??? But I will let the cracker stackers and framies debate that one. There a quite a few NH90 pics on this blog. www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?27458-NH-90-new-european-helo
