I'm confused, I have had the date of the matamata (Waharoa) Fly-in of the Titan Mustangs on the forum calendar for ages as the 31st of March, a date I got from the NZ Warbirds calendar here: www.nzwarbirds.org.nz/events.htmlIt seemed odd as it's a Thursday but i assumed the Warbirds guys knew what they were doing. however in trying to find out more I discovered that the SAA site lists it as being on the 19th and 20th of March, rather than the 31st. www.saa.org.nz/cms/other-events/Can someone please confirm asap what the actual date is, if it was the Thursday my mate who's a TV news director was going to give it some TV coverage, however if it's the weekend that won't happen I don't think. is there an official website for the fly-in?? What sort of events are planned? Thanks.

It's good to see ZK-AKL in the air, I have followed this one for a while, watching it being put together at Avspecs. It looks great. Cracking shots Peter. The TAF is back!

Obviously you'd paint it in Wanganui Aero Works colours.

Well if Mobil could sponsor a Mustang, then why not WAW? I would go for a Wellington squadron machine, as I have spent the vast majority of my life living in yellow-and-black regions. I may not be a rugby fan, but I appreciate my roots . I'm sure I could come up with several differing ideas, will let you know when I make up my mind. Gotta get the kit first though...

A replica of ZK-CCG would actually be really cool, with the white overall and Mobil sponsorship.

Would you have to get permission from the Mobil company to use the "heritage" logo?

Simple, you just create a logo for a product called "lidoM" and print all the photos reversed!

Is this open to the Public? I am quite keen to check it out and any idea when it starts or is it just an informal get together?
