A few minutes ago an unusal aircraft sound - quite high pitched and almost like a model aeroplane - went over my house. I rished out to see a small low wing monoplane disappearing into the distance. I was baffled as to what it was but luckily it turned round and came back, and is now doing aeros in the area. It's a Titan Mustang I believe and looks to be silver. Is that John's from Rukuhia? it looks great.

I heard it too, but didn't get a clear view of it. I think it is John's one, going by the distinctive sound. It would certainly be one of the "Heavy" titans - Microlights shouldn't be over built up areas!

It was quite fast too. It headed initially over my house parallel with Shakespeare Street, and continued that line into the distance, then I heard it turn, it came back and then turned east around about the other sidfe of the polo ground and that's when I saw it side on and clearly it was Mustang shaped and silvery. It headed towards Karapiro and I could hear it but no longer see it, sounding like he was having a bit of fun. A few minutes later I saw it headign north from Karapiro towards Whtehall and then turn east again. That's the last I saw of it. It was really interesting to hear it, a very different sound, eh.
