This has been bugging me. Check out this post on WIX: warbirdinformationexchange.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=40192&hilit=don%27t+ask+tell&start=0I am certain I have seen this published in at least one NZ magazine and there was a NZ connection. I have looked through my copies of RNZAF news, RNZAF Association News, RNZAF Museum News, etc and cannot find it. Does anyone know where this was published? I am certain the caption described the incident, named the gunner and there was some sort of kiwi connection I think.

Probably because it contains this, Shorty, and we know your track record with women

Shorty, they did some "upgrade" recently and now I cannot get WIX to open in IE either, same error message. So I have to open it in the Firefox browser instead.

Ho hum... I managed to get in! Was it for real? Was it for a calendar a la the WI! Shall have to copy it to Facebook for my female friends! LOL Mike Furline by the way answered you Dave with the following: The original picture is from the US Navy Photo Collection stored at the US National Archives and Record Administration (NARA). I'll have to check if I scanned the photo description. The aircrewman is most likely part of the US Navy.
