In 1996 I finally got around to the back pack thing and did my OE (at the age of fifty!) While I was at Frederikshavn at the northern tip of Denmark I came across and war cemetary (containg German and Allied grave) and there were 5 NZ headstones. I tried to take a photo of them but as it was dark the flash washed out the inscriptions , they seem to be as follows Flight Sergeant C James ? and Pilot Officer W.S.Masters Flight Lieutenant Barker (?) Flight Sergeant L S Crawford Watson Can anyone (Errol?) confirm the names and add any other info? I assume they were all from the one crew. There may be another headstone with the group but I can't find a photo of it (and I probably wouldn't be able to read it anyway)

Thanks Errol, the one I thought I read as Barker must be Barrett and the one alongside Masters looks like it may be Imrie. When I find the negs I'll see if I can make it out better.

Micheal Herrick is someone I always enjoy reading about, he was a classic hero, serving in both Europe and the Pacific. What a pity he was killed.
