Cockpit - Aires Wheels - Aires Intake Blanks - Two Mikes Undercarriage - SAC Gun Pod - true details (pretty average) Sidewinder covers - Dr Pepper Weathering - done with Pastels Sidewinders - From the Revell F-15E kit Skyflash - modified from Hasegawa F-15C kit Ladders - Flightpath Anyway, onto the pictures More photos HereBuild thread is here

Wow, Calum, that is the most beautiful rendition of an RAF Phantom I have ever seen. Just amazing.
I hope my A-4K will come out half as good as that. Very inspiring indeed.
Arent those Mr Color Lacquers just beautiful to spray with. My favourite paint.
Cheers Anthony

Calum, what do you use as the background to your models when you photograph them? Is that a large sheet of paper that is ben up the back? It really makes the presentation of the model in the photos look great. I hate seeing photos of lovely models sitting on a clutered work bench, there's too may distractions.

Hi Dave I agree, in fact a good photo background can make your model look better than it is. You've pretty much nailed my method.. This is what i se for work in progress pictures

That is truly a top line model Calum.
As an aside, I really liked your Sci Fi shot of an alien monster attacking a tank. ;D

They operated the best version of the F-4 Phantom. Bigger Rolls Royce engines in their ones.

Some say the RAF's Phantoms were the worst variants ever built (or was that the Royal Nay ones?) And in either case, it was the choice of engine that created the biggest problems. David D

I'm no expert, I was just repeating what I'd read said on UK forum posts in the past. You're probably right David.
