I know your comment is tounge in cheek Dave, but I reckon its this kind of humour that is why the Brits are doing a much better job of winning hearts and minds.
The average Brit squaddie has 3 times the level of common sense that you find with the average American grunt.
I speak from the perspective of having had a fair bit to do with both groups in a previous life :-)
