WOW! The sepia photo is great Gavin, but that shot of Kermit Weeks in the Albatross is an award winner! I'll bet he loves that shot!

This shot was taken as Liz and I were in the chase plane keeping an eye on Frank. Got around 90 seconds alongside the aeroplane which was just enough time. Planned to get the 190 alongside the Cessna Caravan the following day for the overseas photographers but due to technical issues it didn't happen. Look forward to a more in depth photo shoot with this machine some time soon. You can find a story on the aeroplane in the latest edition of Classic Wings. More to follow another day.

Indeed it is!
Is the pilot of the Bristol Fighter wearing red headgear, or is it my monitor?

Is the pilot of the Bristol Fighter wearing red headgear, or is it my monitor? My monitor shows red around the neck area ( possibly a scarf ) , and a light tan helmet ( the sort of colour rugby balls , and baseball gloves used to be ) . Great picture !!!

How are the repairs and modifications on the Fw190 going? I assume they are all done? Has it flown again?

Their is a tail wheel mod that allows for the wheel to be partially retracted just like the original and this has been installed since the airshow. Jay and the team are still working on the aeroplane and it hasn't flown since the airshow, they are doing a few extra jobs that were planned following the airshow anyway.

Thanks so much for all the really stunning photos from the show Gavin. They're most appreciated. And thanks to all the other photo contributors here too. This has been an awesome thread. Roll on the next Classic Fighters airshow.
