Hey guys just finished my 2.5m Cessna 185 and I am starting to "weather" it to make it look "used and abused"and would like some suitable subjects in which to copy. So is there any pictures out there of some filthy dirty working aircraft? Dents, cow pats, undercoat showing, super dust...bring it..
Cheers Rhyno

Yep, and the latest format of Dannevirke.
Can't say I ever saw Fieldair out there in the line-up by the (new) fuel pumps. They used to be tucked in that corner when everybody else was over the other side by the fancy gate (still there) and the line of pine trees.
That's a new Agricola photo Peter? No doubt about location!
Here comes that nostalgia again........ God I must be old: apparently I am, according to my kids.
Shut up Agavwhiz!

That's a new Agricola photo Peter? No doubt about location! True. At least someone is awake. I wondered so I hid it in there deliberately. In the process of scanning the next lot of Agricola photos thanks to AKW, treats to come.

In your dreams.
Mind, I have arranged to meet a noble fellow this coming weekend who just might be able to help.

21st October 1972 Allan. I think Tiri Manahi was flying her at the time. Tiri is not in good shape these days as he is battling cancer.

I saw AZB on an episode of Country Calendar:the Early Years last week. These old episodes are currently running on the TVNZ Heartland channel. It featured AZB circa 1974 based out of dannevike. story was 15 minutes long with lots of good sowing footage.

If that's the episode where the crew heated their lunch up on the manifold of the RL Bedford, I saw that when originally screened and recall that it was Tiri. Far out, nearly 40 years.

Allan, unfortunately Tiri didn't make it to the Reunion along with some others from the South Island, hence not enough seats filled on AMY to make it affordable for the rest. Still, Ray Patchett, Bill Larsen, Rob Brown, Ian Garlick and Jim Doyle made the trek. The Country Calendar episode of AZB is available from TVOne on DVD if anybody is interested.
